The first selection of new homes will be released for sale this month (November) at a new housing development in Hartlepool.

Hartwell Park, in Upper Warren, is Bellway Durham’s latest development, providing 362 homes and public open space as part of a wider new neighbourhood.

Hartwell Park will include 303 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale alongside 26 two and three-bedroom affordable homes available for local people through rent and 33 through a discount market value scheme.

The first properties will initially be released for sale on site at 10am on Saturday 20 November, with two showhomes due to open to the public in late Spring 2022.

Oliver Wray, sales manager for Bellway Durham, said: “Hartwell Park is already appealing to a wide range of buyers at various stages of the property ladder, including first-time buyers and those looking to upgrade to a larger home. Buyers at Hartwell Park will benefit from the fantastic location in Upper Warren, which is just a five-minute drive to Hartlepool town centre and 10 minutes from the marina and sea front. The development is also located within easy reach of several well-regarded schools and key transport links, making it ideal for growing families and commuters to nearby towns and cities.”

As well as delivering new homes for the area, the development is also bringing road improvements and creating new public open space and wildlife areas, as well as providing financial contributions to benefit the local community.

Plans for Hartwell Park were approved in June 2021 and construction work started in September. The first residents are expected to move into their new homes in 2022.
