Bellway has acquired 16.41 acres of land in Litherland for a new residential development. Located on Hawthorne Road, the site was formerly occupied by St Wilfrid’s High School, which closed in August 2012.
Remediation work on site is now underway, with build of the first homes scheduled to start later this year.
Bellway will transform the site into a stunning development offering a superb mix of two, three and four bedroom homes. Known as St Wilfrid’s Place, the development will appeal to all homebuyers, with the housebuilder providing a range of semi-detached and detached houses to suit all budgets.
Renowned for its high standards, the properties at St Wilfrid’s Place are part of Bellway’s beautiful Artisan collection and incorporate carefully considered elevations and luxury design features.
Jenny Bell, sales director at Bellway North West, comments: “We are delighted to be back in Litherland, bringing our recently launched Artisan collection homes to the region. The plans for St Wilfrid’s Place are fantastic and we are very much looking forward to starting build once the remediation work is complete.”
In addition to the new residential development, Bellway has made several significant financial contributions to the locality, including £460,000 towards playing pitches and changing facilities as well as £132,240 towards open space improvements.
